From a Karkala village to public life

As Vice President of the District Congress Committee he visited every village in the constituency and organised programmes to strengthen the party. He has taken an active part in Grama Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, Zilla Panchayat and local body elections in Karkala taluk, and supported many candidates financially.

He has enrolled more than a thousand members into the Youth Congress in the Karkala constituency, and serves as President of the Hebri Ajekar Zonal Bunts Association.

By profession a civil engineer, he has undertaken road construction work for P.W.D., N.H., S.H.D.P., K.S.S.I.D.C., P.M.G.S.Y. and K.I.A.D.B., completing projects ahead of schedule.

    Engineering education

    B.E. in Civil Engineering at N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology, Nitte, then an M.Tech in Structural Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology.

    Building roads

ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು

ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬಾನೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಆದಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಅವರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯಾರಾದರು ಕಷ್ಟ ಎಂದು ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲಾ. ಜನಪರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಸೆ.

ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಾದ P.W.D., NH, SHDP, KSSIDC, PMGSY, KIADB ಯಂತಹ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿಗದಿ ಪಡಿಸಿದ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಖುಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
